Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation (PP) No. 224, s. of 1988, declaring the first week of March each year as Women’s Week and March 8 as Women’s Rights and International Peace Day; Proclamation No. 227, s. of 1988, providing for the observance of the Month of March as Women’s Role in History Month; and Republic Act (RA) No. 6949 (199O), declaring March 8 of every year as National Women’s Day, Hanjin Integrated School joined the celebration of Women’s Month through Search for Natatanging Reina ng Tahanan 2023.

The said activity was a joint project of SPTA and SGAD Coordinators with the ultimate goal of showcasing the talent of the “Ina ng Tahanan” and to empower women in the society most especially the parents of Hanjin Integrated School. The search for Natatanging Reina ng Tahanan is a two-day long event focusing on the talents and beauty of all mothers in Hanjin Integrated School.

The contestant of the said Reina ng Tahanan were: Mrs. Sheryl T. Edrosolan (Kinder), Jhonalyn Esores (Grade 1), Jennifer Canadayen (Grade 2), Helen Malate (Grade 3), Jahara Radoc (Grade 4), Ihia Sierra (Grade 5), Josephine Narido (Grade 6), Marie Chirs Paza (Grade 7), and Villafe Garcia (Grade 10). 

During the first day, the chosen contestants showcased their talent through various performances like dancing, singing, and acting. Contestant No.1 performed a Drama Skit while Contestant No.2 was not able to attend the event for some urgent matter. The third contestant performed a Tiktok dance which was followed by the performance of the fourth contestant through a song. Contestant No.7 was remarkable as she performed a drama skit reflecting the adversities of  Filipina OFWs abroad who suffer from abuse and maltreatment. The acting was good and very realistic and all the audience felt the mood while watching. The result of the talent portion favored contestant no.7 which resulted for her to win the talent category.

The next day, March 31, 2023, at exactly 6 in the morning, teachers, students and parents attended a parade wearing pink and violet.

In the afternoon, at exactly 4, the event continued with the flag retreat spearheaded by Mr. Rico and HIS Boy Scouts. Contestants showcased their beautiful gowns and expressed their personalities with their mottos in life. The last part of the event focused on the question-and-answer portion where contestants confidently answers question chosen by the judges. In the end, Mrs. Sheryl T. Edrosolan (Kinder) was crowned as the Reina ng Tahanan  2023.
